Making All Voices Count (MAVC) is a development program that has supported projects around the world focused on making governance more responsive and accountable through technology-led initiative. In March 2017, partners from 34 different projects met for three days in South Africa to share their stories of change. Siti Nurjanah represented WYDII and shared “Our Voice” Platform (Suara Kita) that aimed to give a platform to women in a Javanese village using SMS messages to share their opinions. The initiative’s success was acknowledged in the learning event, as well as highlighted in Report.
